Create Camp is for young people who are interested in exploring the natural world through art. At this online event, you'll learn new art techniques, produce amazing artwork, explore your local natural world and reflect on what God shares with us through His incredible creation. And along the way, there'll be other fun activities to enjoy and you're sure to make some great, new friends.
Whether you live in Cairns, Gold Coast, Longreach or anywhere in between you can join us for this event.
Megan Forward will be running our art workshops and sending us out on our nature-based activities.
Megan is a successful artist, author and illustrator of children’s books. She has a particular interest in connecting children and families to the natural world, whether that be through art, reading, gardening or simply getting out there amongst it. Megan also runs workshops in schools, libraries, kindergartens and other community settings with this goal in mind.
As a young girl she dreamed of one day creating picture books and is thrilled to be combining this dream with a love of building community around the natural world and the desire to share this love with children and families.

In the morning, we'll gather together online to spend some time doing fun activities and getting to know everyone, particularly people in our small group. Then after a nature-based art workshop, we'll head offline for lunch and to work on at-home art activities. We'll come back together online in the afternoon to share and reflect on what we've worked on throughout the day.
If you would like to bring along a group of students from your school or church that would be great. Please contact us for more a promotional pack and more information about how you can be involved.
Create Camp are looking for people to join our team and get involved. Contact us today. You will require a current and valid Blue Card.
